Mind-Body Bridging
Mind-Body Bridging (MBB) is one of a new generation of healing modalities. It has been hailed as a medical breakthrough and combines 21st century neurologically-based findings in mind-body interaction with centuries-old healing traditions and mindfulness practices.
Learning the tools of MBB allows us to reach a level of inner peace as we journey through life’s difficult situations. By bridging the gap between mind and body, we can reach improved levels of physical and mental functioning that allow ourselves to heal various conditions that include childhood or present trauma, depression, addiction, chronic illness or pain, tension headaches and weight issues.
The tools of Mind-Body Bridging are easily assimilated, and can be practiced anytime, anywhere, especially “in the heat of the moment”. They do not require us to attend regular yoga or meditation classes, nor to sign up for talk-therapy sessions. They do not promise quick fixes for one condition, but work deeply and consistently to improve and change the very fabric of our inner being.
Through the practice of MBB we can empower ourselves to reach improved levels of work, athletic and personal performance and to change the behavioural and emotional habits that cause distress not only to ourselves, but to our loved ones. The results are not only permanent, but work holistically to positively transform all aspects of our lives.
MBB is the result of 15 years of development and clinical research by a team of physicians, psychologists and researchers at the Salt Lake City School of Medicine/University of Utah.
Results in the treatment of individuals suffering war trauma, abuse or severe addiction show an amazing rate of recovery in excess of 93%. MBB is also an effective treatment for many other issues, and similar results have been recorded in the treatment of insomnia, weight loss and athletic performance. Studies into its effectiveness in the treatment of a variety of other conditions are ongoing.
This program is now available in Hong Kong, in the form of weekend intensive workshops, one-on-one weekly sessions and in weekly group meetings.
